ABOUT

VISION

LOCATION

FORMAT

A contemporary platform for sound, space, and embodied experimentation.

Developed in relation to the former Lichtspielhaus in Gars am Kamp, Gars Electronica creates a shared curatorial frame for immersive sound installation, electroacoustic concert formats, and transdisciplinary live performance.

Rather than presenting isolated events, the platform unfolds as a seasonal constellation. Temple of Sound, Prix Russolo, and Saturnalien operate as interconnected modules within a larger artistic identity that links local cultural activation with international contemporary practice.

From regional activation to an internationally visible cultural node.

Gars am Kamp, Lower Austria

Seasonal cultural platform

Gars Electronica seeks to establish Gars am Kamp as a recognizable destination for spatial sound, contemporary music, and experimental artistic production in Lower Austria.

The platform connects architectural atmosphere, listening culture, embodied performance, and curatorial continuity. It expands beyond the logic of a single event and builds a sustainable cultural identity for future editions, partnerships, and public communication.

A regional setting with the potential to host high-level experimental artistic work while opening access to local and supraregional audiences.

Installation, concert, performance, communication, and future-oriented cultural positioning under one identity.
